It was a good effort from the batters chasing a big total against a quality bowling attack of Punjab Kings. Arshdeep Singh bowling two overs at the death was always going to be a tough challenge to navigate for MI.
The left-arm pacer’s execution is brilliant and to hit him for 14 or more in an over is never easy.
Mumbai Indians will face a similar challenge when they come to Ahmedabad. Mohamamd Shami will make things difficult for Mumbai Indians at the top and at the death. Rohit Sharma will also
be hoping to win the toss and bowl first given his team’s lack of consistency with the ball.
